This Nectar is made from raw materials used in the food industry and contains essential vitamins and minerals on which Lorikeets can flourish.
The Nectar has a protein content of 13.5% – carbohydrates 86% and fat only 0.4%. Our Nectar contains no Lactose which many experts consider unsuitable for birds.
The ingredients are: Fructose, Dextrose, Calcium caseinate, Beepollen, Vitamin A-B1-B2-B6-B12-C-D3-E-K1, Biotine, Nicotinamid, Ca-D-pantothenat, Folic acid, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Copper, Manganese, Zinc, Molybydenum, Iodine, Fluorine.
For Lorikeets mix 15-25g in 100ml of water. The Nectar will stay fresh for at least 12 hours. The nectar powder can also be sprinkled over fruit for further benefits.

The key point about our Lory Nectar is that all ingredients are organic and all protein is of animal origin (rather than cereal origin) – on the basis that in the wild this is the protein Lorikeets source – and the Nectar contains no cheap 'fillers' like most commercial formulas. Importantly the fat content is only 0.4% which is hugely advantageous compared to most commercial Lory nectars.
This nectar was also formulated with Swift Parakeets in mind and proves extremely popular with our own birds.
